Assistant Food Service Director

Culinary Services Group, a Premier Healthcare Contract Food Service Management Company seeks an Assistant Food Service Director to help operate and manage the food service program of a healthcare community. The Assistant FSD will help maintain and promote a clean and safe work area via applicable location, health, safety, and food handling regulations. This highly visible position will also aid the FSD in planning, directing, and controlling all food service related activities including: menu development, purchasing, production, and service while managing the operation's budget through effective cost control procedures and systems. The Assistant FSD will assist in training, coaching and motivating the staff and ensuring that all employees comprehend and comply with rules, procedures and policies. This position will also regularly interact with customers and client providing top-notch customer service.

The ideal Assistant FSD will have a proven background of success within the hospitality industry in both FOH and BOH environments. Candidate should have extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organized, self-motivated & enthusiastic, with a strong commitment to building a core group of professionals. Computer and cash handling skills are essential for this position.

BA/BS and/or culinary degree preferred. CDM & CFPP certifications are highly desirable.
