Chef Manager
Culinary Services Group, a Premier Healthcare Contract
Food Service Management Company seeks a Chef Manager to operate
and manage the food service program of a healthcare community.
The Chef Manger will maintain and promote a clean and safe work
area via applicable location, health, safety, and food handling
regulations. This highly visible position will also plan, direct,
and control all food service related activities including: menu
development, purchasing, production, and service while managing
the operation's budget through effective cost control procedures
and systems. The Chef Manger is accountable for training, coaching
and motivating the kitchen staff and ensuring that all employees
comprehend and comply with rules, procedures and policies. This
position will also regularly interact with customers and client
providing top-notch customer service.
The ideal Chef Manager will be a progressive culinarian with
preferable some experience in a contract food service setting.
Candidate should have extraordinary interpersonal and communication
skills, be highly organized, self-motivated & enthusiastic,
with a strong commitment to building a core group of professionals.
Computer and cash handling skills are essential for this position.
BA/BS and/or culinary degree preferred. CDM & CFPP
certifications are highly desirable.
